Professional Experience

Before being elected MLA in 2021, Lisa had decades of experience as a small business owner, non-profit director and consultant, researcher, and international affairs advocate. They’ve had a longstanding relationship with Dalhousie University as a student, instructor, researcher, and staff member.

Research

 

As a researcher and academic, Lisa has published many reports and made presentations on youth and child rights and engagement, mental health and addictions solutions, knowledge mobilization, 2SLGBTQ+ equity issues, and more. Lisa completed their Ph.D in 2023 around youth mental health.
